We are seeking a Legal Contracting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts for the company. The Legal Contracting Specialist will work closely with the legal team, business units, and external vendors to ensure all contracts meet legal and business requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts and agreements
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and vendors
- Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies
- Provide legal advice to internal teams on contract-related matters
- Analyze and mitigate risks associated with contracts
- Maintain and update contract templates and clauses
- Conduct legal research on various issues related to contracts and business operations
- Work with external legal counsel when necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in contract drafting and review
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm
- Knowledge of intellectual property and data privacy laws
- Familiarity with contract management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
